Are you interested in the powerful properties of plants? Want to learn how to begin to grow your own medicinal herbs? Want to know what you can do to assist in your own healing and total wellbeing? This exciting course offers you the opportunity to make herbal remedies, explore and understand herbal medicine theory and to understand its place in wholistic healing.
You will learn how to:
• Make herbal preparations for yourself, family and friends from kitchen/garden herbs
• Explore traditional concepts of herbs and healing
• Use a range of herbal teas for various purposes
• Undertstand the importance of nutrition and herbal medicine
• Understand how herbal medicine can be used to enhance your mood
• Plant and grow your own medicinal herb
• Appreciate the role of herbal medicine in wholistic healing

MUSHROOM CULTIVATION FOR BEGINNERS

Come and learn the basics of mushroom cultivation. Explore various techniques using grain, straw and wood for growing gourmet and medicinal mushrooms such as Oyster, Reishi and Shiitake mushrooms.
This will be a hands on experience; we will cover everything you need to know
to get you started. It is also a great recap for any previous attendees.
